I love going to a new city and finding out where the local bands are playing. Norwich is no exception and was recently named in NME as one of the hotbeds of unsigned indie talent. Central to this is the Brickmakers and its live music venue B2.
I paid a visit last week to see who was playing and came across debutants "A Kind Of Sigh" and the recently signed "Midwitch". They’ve both got a long way to go before they’ll be cracking the top 40 but I’ll be following their careers with interest.
